Get Together Workshop in Portchester/Fareham

Paper beads are an ideal 100% recyclable dress jewellery. Produce chunky or small beads by rolling onto a thin stick and then secure with glue. Threaded through to make necklaces, bracelet or earrings. 

Card and paper
We will be using pre-cut paper strips, from wallpaper, magazines, books and anything that has since lost its charm. Please feel free to bring your own pages. 

Participants will:

  • Gain insight into sustainable creativity

  • Build self-confidence through artistic expression

  • Meet new people

  • Practical workshop for anyone seeking a chance to explore a new medium.

 Other information:

  • Feel free to bring snacks

  • Arrive 10 minutes early to get settled before the creating begins

  • All materials are provided

  • Background classical music is played to help creativity

  • Cake and hot drink will be served

  • Children will gain a certificate and take home resource material.

ArtCycle C.I.C. is a non-profit Community Interest Company dedicated to reshaping hearts and minds by transforming the way we think about waste. Our mission is to inspire a more creative, conscious, and sustainable approach to everyday materials. Facilitators and volunteers hold a DBS, are first aid trained, and trauma informed. The course offers practical problem-solving under the guidance of crafty specialists and a professional graphic designers. Children will experiment in a super supportive space and suitable for all abilities.
